Journalist & Producer
I write about information security, culture, and technology. My interests and expertise are in intelligence agencies, techno-consumerism, data policy, and digital citizenship.
My work can be found in both mainstream and trade publications including The Daily Swig (PortSwigger), NBC, Vice, The Daily Mail Online, The Lancet, and the International New York Times.

I am currently working with the Manchester-based cybersecurity consulting firm Digital Interruption to develop new media models, looking at ways in which hackers and journalists can work together more proactively in order to produce better representations of security. We are currently conducting a survey of the media industry. Your participation is welcomed. Please fill it out here. Do you work in InfoSec? There's a seperate survey for you.
I am also working as a producer for Sanctum of Cyborgia, a digitally immersive opera performance exploring sense and what it means to be human.
